Her performance all the way from Arrival to American Hustle to nocturnal animals and Vice its high time she gets one for her accurate honest work of any character she adorns.

Everyone knows the antagonist from Harry Potter Voldemort, but not many know the man behind it. It was this one who made that character an icon. But his big performances have come all over the years. His fierce role in Schindler's list to the most satirical performance in The Grand Budapest Hotel. Everyone's still shocked after wondering how come he didn't end get the award for that film. He has some big promising films coming up and the hopes are held high.
4.Jake Gyllenhaal
It requires an actor like him to give mind-boggling performances one after the other only to shun down by the academy! The last time he received a nomination was for Broken Mountains, which was 15 years ago. He has cracking works like Nightcrawlers, Prisoners, South Paw, Nocturnal Animals, and his performance as Mysterio in the spider-man franchise. He is a fascinating actor with depth in his performance and his dry run will end soon.
5.Wilhem Dafoe
He is one of those rare method actors who start living the character he plays to its real self. Commercially everyone knows him playing the Goblin in the Origin Spiderman movie but that's not him. He is a perfectionist who is meant to play hermetic and challenging roles. His work in At Eternity's Gate, Lighthouse, Florida Project, and Antichrist are unforgettable works for him. His 5 mins long monologue was enough to hand him the Academy well sadly the world is yet to appreciate this man's charismatic work.
